Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of the Discord bot Crewly (“the bot”) and the website with dashboard, operated by Niklas Schreckling (contact: see legal notice). By adding the bot to a server, using its commands or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to them.
1. The service
Crewly is an all-in-one bot for Discord servers (including moderation, AutoMod, tickets, levels, team management, applications and welcome messages) with a web dashboard. All features are free and without ads. We may change, restrict or discontinue features at any time; no particular availability is guaranteed. The current operating state is shown on the status page.
2. Server admins
Only members with the “Manage Server” permission can set up the bot; they can grant access to further roles in the dashboard. Admins are responsible for choosing suitable features, texts, channels and roles, for giving the bot the permissions it needs and – where required – for informing their members about the enabled features (e.g. applications, team statistics, logs). Admins set up automatic moderation actions themselves and are responsible for them.
3. Acceptable use
The bot must not be used to:
- violate laws, Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
- spam, harass or deceive others, in particular through mass mentions or direct messages;
- overload, probe, scrape or disrupt the bot or the website, or circumvent its limits and permissions;
- resell the service.
In case of abuse we may remove the bot from a server, block servers or users and refuse service.
4. Content
Admins are responsible for content they have the bot publish (e.g. announcements, welcome texts, custom commands, application questions). Crewly is an independent project not affiliated with Discord Inc. and is neither endorsed nor sponsored by Discord.
5. Liability
The bot is provided as is. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for breach of essential obligations and limited to foreseeable damage, as far as legally permitted. For loss of data we are only liable to the extent it would not have occurred with customary backups; the bot's backup feature does not replace your own backups.
6. Privacy
The data processed by the website and the bot is described in the privacy policy. When the bot is removed from a server, that server's data is deleted.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. German law applies. You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot.
